Hot Hollywood.

I haven't been on the site "media takeout" in a while but they were showing some of our famed celebrities looking very nice. The pictures embody the "edge" that I was talking about in my previous posts. Shoutout to to Hot. Hollywood.

QUOTE OF THE MOMENT.

"That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."

EDGE.

So a friend of mine who has a blog made a post about "swag" which in turn inspired me to write a post about "edge". What is edge you ask? It's an  extension of swag. In fact, I think it defines a specific type of swag. I would say it is a popular swag trend currently going around now. I feel many artists and people in general are trying to embody this "edge."

In my own terms, I would define "edge" as the swag that is daring, racy, outside the box. It's tittilating. "Edge" goes beyond the norm. I love "edge" and it is something that I, myself try to emulate.

Examples of two artists that come to mind when I think of "edge" are Lady Gaga and Rihanna. They are outside the box and they are "edge".

Watch. Enjoy.

These videos are dope. Listen. Watch. Enjoy. Outside of the Box.

"On to the next one" Jay-Z ft. Swizz Beatz

First off I gotta say Rihanna is really bigging "swag" to her songs. Her vocal deliveries in her new album "Rated R" are a step up.  Props to her.

"So Hard" Rihanna ft. Young Jeezy

Rihanna better work with those outfits and those red lips. I need to try red lips more often. Fashion is beautiful.

"Quote of the Moment"

"Art is the proper task of life"
-Friedrich Nietzsche

Rat tat tat tat tat TATTOO!

I've been debating on whether or not I should get a tattoo for quite some time now....I'd say for over a year. There were several questions running through my head.

What do I get?

Where do I get it? (I dont want my tattoos to be visible...very discreet for professional reasons)

And...

Do I really want one cause it is PERMANENT!

But after much debating, I decided yes I want a tattoo....actually two. I came up with two concepts. I hear they are addicting so I hope I don't go overboard, I prob won't I still want to keep the rest of my baby skin looking clean haha.

My main one which will be along my ribcage on my right side was going to be first but I'm going to start off with a smaller tattoo underneath my stomach to see how I withstand the pain.

Cause the ribcage= bloddy murder. simply put.

Ok so the smaller one which I'm developing more into detail will be inked on me next week. I will show pics=) It will be music related. Maybe some piano keys a music note and a mic or one of the three....still thinking....that will be underneath my stomach. by my pelvic area.

The second one is a lot bigger and will require a lot of pain and money so I will have to work my way up towards that. haha. It is a quote from one of my favorite philosophers Friedrich Nietzsche. He is a German philosopher and the shit he says is so real. raw. true.

But the quote is

"That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."

It defines me. I'm a little fighter haha. And there will be struggles through life that will continue to make me stronger.

I have a whole desgin layed out for this one. It's dope but I know it will require lots of bread which I am working towards. I'm not going into detail of how it will look, when you see the pics you will know.  And I need a great tattoo artist who will not fuck it up. After all, it is permanent. hehe.

Thanks Friedrich Nietzsche.

Currently Playing: "Love Come Down" -Dirty Money

Oh la musica....the things you do to me.

Here are some song videos I suggest you listen to....they are simply dope. They are different. They are Bellisimo.

"Pursuit of Happiness" -Kid Cudi ft.MGMT and Ratatat

"Sleepy Head" by Passion Pit

"Electric Feel" by MGMT

"On the pursuit...."

The minute I heard this song, I fell in love. The song itself what touched me. It was the chorus which tied everything together. The chorus honestly defines everything that I have been going through and will continue to go through along this journey called life.

It goes:

"I'm on the pursuit of happiness and I know everything that shine ain't always gonna be gold. I'll be fine once I get it. I'll be good."

Anny's motto for 2010. I'm officially on the pursuit. Thanks Kid Cudi.

HAPPY NEW YEARS! 2010. A new decade.

Happy new years! I hope you all rang in the New Years right! I sure did. I rang it in with friends and family and just had a grand ol' time. It was nice being in the company of people I cared so deeply for this new year. People usually start off the new year with many extravangant expectations they wish to fulfill by the end of the year stating things like "this year is going to be the new me" and what not.

I have no expectations.

Just goals I wish to fulfill. I leave it all in God's hands and hope that I will prosper and grow this year. Stay tuned for the ride=)

On that note. I had to start the New Year off right. I wasn't able to take a picture of my whole outifit which was incredible I might add....but look at my snazzy bangles I wore to party! Let's go 2010.
